Born in a world ruled by man, Alissa Phoenix never had the best of luck. From her parents' love of her sister and the annoying (but totally cute) prince Adrian bullying her every day, she was no different than most girls in her life. When she finds her parents holding "photos" she knows her life is going to change. Her father is shipped away and the last thing she has from him is a silver dagger, which she gave away to her best friend. Blaming herself for her father's arrest she runs away from home joining a secret underground organization, only known as the Rebellion, a female organization to get back their rights. Nine years later she loses her adopted mother, Flora Nightingale. When they capture Prince Adrian, Alissa finds herself doing something she never dreamed of doing. Falling for the Prince. With an upcoming war coming up Alissa struggles with her feelings for Prince Adrian and the promises she made as a kid to the people she betrayed, her horrible dreams are not helping either. Will she pick the Rebellion and follow the path people expect her or will she let her past catch up with her in the end?
