The main character Amanda has an assignment to write a script about a maid in drama class. She doesn't know what to do and she has until the end of summer, so she gets herself hired as a maid. She falls in love with the owner's secretary Mr. Aaron. In the end she finds out that the owner's best friend was her real long lost mother. Mr. Aaron meets Amanda again in the future and tells Amanda that he likes him.
