Many years before the nuclear reactor of Chernobyl exploded and spewed its dark cloud of radioactive death into the clear blue Russian winter skies, two young boys hunted birds, squirrels, wild pigs, and even make-believe Nazi spies in the forests and fields surrounding the huge, ominous-looking plant where their father worked as a nuclear scientist.

Now, five years after that terrible day that changed Russia and the world forever, Dmitri, the eldest of the two brothers, is again hunting in the forests surrounding Chernobyl.
