Cover: Mostly Fifteen by Taylor Denison

I'm on the computer at last, lovelies!

He's fifteen, forty-one, and twenty-seven all at once-- at least, in terms of his personality.

But mostly fifteen.

Tyler isn't human, as far as he can tell. He has a patch of scales on his right shoulder, another set of arms at his sides. He really is quite peculiar. Barely managing a high-school for gifted students, and hiding both his scales and extra arms, he's constantly wondering why he's so different. His parents would know-- if only they were still alive.

After staying at the house of another girl, Florence Walters, for all of his first year of high school, Tyler realizes that she isn't so different from him.

Eagerly, he asks her parents about his deformities, only to receive an answer that makes Tyler realize that he has to leave immediately.

With Florence.

Cover: In a World of My Own by Anna Chiang

Arin Edie Cogswell has never heard a sound in her life - in all her twelve years, five months, and six days. She's never heard the birds chirping, never heard the sound of the ocean waves. She's never even heard her own voice. Her parents try to help, but really, they don't understand her. Therefore, without sounds, Arin Edie makes use with art. Art is her refuge, art is pretty much the only thing she thinks she's good at. So when Mrs. Sapir, a friendly neighbor, enters one of Arin Edie's artwork into a contest and she wins, Arin Edie's happy. But just when things start to perk up a bit, someone has to ruin it. And, well, sometimes there are just those obstacles in life that you need a little help overcoming.

Cover: Cut Here by Evangeline Brooks

From the outside, Leila Grace Walker looks like a normal (well, semi-normal) thirteen-year-old. She has wavy brown hair, an annoying younger sister (Kaitlin), and a ton of friends. She's getting ready for high school. She has an overprotective mom. But there's a catch. There's always a catch... Her father left her when she was little. Her mother verbally (and, sometimes, physically) abuses her. Leila also has Bipolar II Disorder, and the one friend she confided in isn't sure whether she's crazy or just seeking attention. Frustrated with the world, forced to retreat into the whirlwind of her thoughts and still act normal, Leila starts self harming--cutting, to be precise. Finally, she can think straight. But the cracks in her mask are beginning to show through. She doesn't know how much longer she can play normal--or if she even wants to anymore.

I don't know if this was the genre feel you wanted me to go for, but as soon as you described the image you wanted I thought of this. And it's very nice, you know? I'd been dying to use it for ages. The font is, yes, somewhat overused, but imagine my surprise when I applied this random effect and the text went all pretty! :) Hope you like it!

Cover: Moon Chasers by Maye McPhail

On the outside, Jess Wagoner is perfect. The right clothes, the right friends, the right superficial laugh and the perfect timing. Inside, Jess is harboring an introverted fifteen year old whose only solace is solitary nighttime bike rides where she can finally be free. But then Jess meets Alyss on a midnight ride, and she is lead to a hidden fringe group known as Night Riders. Jess is finally allowed to be herself around the Riders, but preppy socialite habits are hard to break, and as she discovers more about the Riders, Jess learns that her meticulously constructed life just might come crashing down.

So this is just a thing I did. Um. For an awesome person on the NaNo forums named maye (http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/user/870873). Just because I felt like it. Hope that doesn't seem too random. :D

The novel just seemed so interesting. GAH. I really hope it's okay, maye. Sincerely.
